Job summary

York St John University in York is seeking a Content Designer to join the Marketing department. You will lead the design and development of high quality, accessible content across the website and digital channels, overseeing content style guidelines and publishing processes.

Based at the York campus, you will engage prospective students and their guardians at Open Days and Decision Days, helping to strengthen engagement and support the overall marketing strategy.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to organise workload and manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of website accessibility standards.
• Experience using and guiding others to use content style guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of high quality, accessible content across the website and associated digital channels.
• Oversee content style guidelines and how content is published to digital channels.
• Improve engagement with our audience by coordinating content and publishing strategies.
• Support outreach at Open Days, Decision Days and other events to connect with prospective students and guardians.
