Job description

We’re looking for a passionate and creative Social Media & Marketing Coordinator to bring our unique hotels, luxury spa, treatments, restaurants, and events to life online.

As the Local Social Media & Marketing Coordinator, you'll be our in-house storyteller, showcasing everything from indulgent spa experiences and signature wellness treatments to exceptional local dining and exclusive events. While social media will be your main focus, you’ll also support wider marketing activities to drive engagement and awareness, whilst growing our following and sales for your hotel. You’ll work as part of the Head Office Marketing and Creative team but collaborate closely with your hotels.

This role will cover Local Social Media & Marketing for both North Lakes Hotel & Spa and Langdale Chase, with your time split between the two hotels.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

• Creating engaging content—posts, reels, and stories—that highlight the magic of our hotel.
• Working closely with hotel teams to capture and share daily activities across all areas.
• Managing our social feeds and online community, responding to comments and messages.
• Growing followers and engagement through partnerships and competitions.
• Planning and producing seasonal and campaign content to keep channels fresh and relevant.
• Owning and executing the local content calendar.
• Sharing content on internal communication channels as appropriate.
• Updating the website and OTAs with new photography, menus, events, and key information.
• Supporting wider campaign launches, including sales, summer, and Christmas promotions.
• Assisting with local marketing campaigns, such as festive celebrations and events.
• Coordinating influencer and press visits, ensuring a seamless experience working with our central team.
• Supporting local photography or video shoots as directed by the creative team.

Who are we looking for:

Are you a master of the written word, curious by nature, and detail-oriented? If you are a creative individual passionate about food, outdoors, staycations, and walking, this role might be perfect for you!

We’re seeking someone with 2-3 years of social media experience in hospitality or retail. You should have experience managing social media feeds, creating engaging content, and demonstrating this through a portfolio. A keen photographic eye and video creation skills using a smartphone and editing tools are essential.

Strong writing skills and attention to detail are key. You should have a proactive, energetic, and enthusiastic approach, capable of working under pressure and juggling multiple tasks.

A full driving license is required for this role.
