Join our Organisational Development team to shape the council's new era of Progress with Unity. Using various media, you will creatively communicate our key missions and six ways of working to ensure our workforce collaborates towards shared goals.
As a Content Creator, you will support the provision of a first-class design service. Working within the Internal Communications and Staff Engagement Team, you will produce publicity and marketing materials in multiple formats including print and digital. You will also assist in organising council-wide events.
You should have an eagerness to learn, try new approaches, and be courageous in your creative media efforts. You will be responsible for sourcing and researching new communication tools to assess their compatibility with existing communication strategies. An understanding of social media and its effective use is essential.
You must possess excellent graphic design skills, including proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and motion/video software such as Adobe Premiere. Excellent interpersonal skills are also essential, as you will be working with colleagues across the organisation and senior management.
