Department: Marketing

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Swindon Head Office

Reporting To: Marketing Lead

Description

The CFO Centre is a global provider of fractional CFO services, helping SME owners grow with senior financial leadership across multiple markets.

As our Content Creator, you will turn our expertise, client success and CFO insight into content that builds trust and drives demand. You will sit within the marketing team, reporting to the Marketing Lead, and work hand in hand with our CRO, who leads our voice in the market. You will own our case study programme end to end and be the go‑to person for content across the wider marketing team.

What success looks like

  • A steady pipeline of case studies, in written and video form, that sales and marketing use every week.

  • A clear, forward-looking content schedule for the CRO, with activity organised and delivered on time.

  • Campaigns launched with high-quality content ready on schedule.

  • The digital team and wider marketing team well supported with copy, visuals and clips.

  • A well‑organised, up‑to‑date image library and content archive.

Key Responsibilities

Campaign content

  • Support the Marketing Lead on campaign work, producing content from brief to publication.

  • Write and produce blogs, whitepapers, guides, landing page copy and email content.

  • Ensure all content is on brand, on message, our tone of voice and tailored to SME owners and decision makers.

  • Repurpose long-form content into shorter formats across channels.

Case studies

  • Own the case study programme end to end, from identifying stories to final sign-off.

  • Source suitable clients with CFOs and commercial team, and secure client approval.

  • Plan and conduct interviews with clients and CFOs, in person or remotely.

  • Write up case studies in written form and produce them as video, managing filming and editing (sometimes working with an external agency).

  • Maintain a library of case studies by sector, market and challenge so they are easy to find and use.

Partnership with the CRO

  • Work closely with the CRO to co-create short form video content to establish the CRO as ‘the face of the CFO Centre’ on a variety of social channels including but not limited to TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and META, capturing their insight and point of view.

  • Build and manage a content schedule for the CRO, advising where and when they are needed.

  • Organise content-related activity such as podcasts, webinars, interviews, filming and speaking slots.

  • Prepare briefing notes, talking points and supporting materials ahead of each activity.

  • Turn CRO-led activity into content, such as articles, social posts, clips and quotes.

  • Support the CRO with maintaining his social accounts.

Tone of voice and compliance

  • Own and champion The CFO Centre tone of voice, keeping the TOV guidelines up to date.

  • Review copy from the wider team, agencies, partners and AI tools for accuracy, consistency and voice.

  • Manage consent and release forms for client filming, photography and logo use (GDPR).

Supporting the wider marketing team

  • Produce and support content for other areas of marketing, including working closely with the digital team.

  • Help support marketing areas with copy and assets for website, SEO, paid media, social, email and events activity where needed.

  • Contribute to the content calendar and share ideas for new formats and topics.

Visual, audio and photography

  • Visuals: create social graphics, carousels, infographics, presentation slides and campaign assets in Canva or Adobe.

  • Audio and short form video: produce and edit podcasts, webinar clips for social and web.
