Content & Brand Experience Director, AD level

About the role:

As a Content Director, you will work as a senior member of the Wavemaker Content team – leading responses to briefs to positively provoke growth, with responsibility for strategic planning and delivery of Content Partnership solutions.

The role requires collaboration with Wavemaker Studio, client teams, and other agency specialists, overseeing multiple cross-functional projects simultaneously.

You will build excellent relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor to maximize partnership opportunities. You will hold a senior, commercially accountable role, leading creative planning and delivery, and developing team members.

You should have excellent knowledge of content disciplines and a passion for applying new creative thinking to client solutions.

In this role, you will:

  • Own the brief: Work with senior team members to assemble the right response team.
  • Understand Wavemaker OS and Positive Provocation: Leverage knowledge of creative solutions and disciplines.
  • Lead creative solutions: Inspire confidence in the right creative approach and pitch solutions effectively.

Other core responsibilities include:

  • Client Servicing: Build strong relationships and handle requests professionally.
  • Planning and Delivery: Collaborate to generate and pitch content solutions.
  • Campaign Management & Performance: Deliver campaigns seamlessly and mentor your team.
  • Commercials: Understand internal processes and generate income opportunities.
  • Team Management: Lead Content Managers and Executives, fostering excellence.
  • Innovation & Collaboration: Maintain relationships with senior partners and stay aware of industry innovations.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of media systems like Media explorer, Prisma, AURA, etc.
