QS Recruitment Ltd invites applications for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution operation handling pre-packed food products in the UK. The role is ongoing temporary work with regular shifts, starting at 10:30, and the pay rate is £12.71 per hour with up to 28 days’ annual leave pro rata.

You will move goods across the warehouse, load and unload containers, and support dispatch while following site Health & Safety and food-handling procedures. Closing date is 26/11/2026.

Job Description

Looking for hands-on warehouse work where you can stay active throughout the day? We’re recruiting reliable Warehouse Operatives to join a busy distribution operation handling pre-packed food products.

This role would suit someone who enjoys physical work, works well as part of a team and is looking for regular ongoing employment in a busy warehouse environment.

You’ll be working across the warehouse, with your main responsibility focused on loading and unloading containers and supporting the wider dispatch operation.

Your duties will include moving pre-packed food products safely around the warehouse, preparing goods for dispatch, checking and organising outgoing products and supporting colleagues where required.

You’ll also help maintain a clean and organised working environment while following site Health & Safety and food-handling procedures.

The role is physically active, so you’ll need to be comfortable with manual work and maintaining a good pace throughout your shift.

Duration: This is an ongoing temporary position offering regular work, with the potential for longer-term opportunities for reliable and hardworking candidates.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The position pays £12.71 per hour, with the opportunity to accrue up to 28 days’ annual leave pro rata.

Working Hours: The role starts at 10:30, with finishing times dependent on the daily workload.Hours may vary according to operational requirements, so flexibility is important.

Experience & Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous, although a reliable attitude and willingness to work hard are equally important.

You’ll need to be comfortable with physical work, including loading and unloading containers, and able to maintain good attention to detail.

A strong work ethic, good teamwork and an understanding of Health & Safety procedures are essential.
