An established industry player is seeking a Consumer Credit Lawyer Vice President to join their Unsecured Regulated Lending team in London. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support for consumer lending products, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while managing legal risks. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with experience in finance law, capable of advising senior stakeholders and navigating the complexities of consumer credit law. Join us as a Consumer Credit Lawyer Vice President within our Unsecured Regulated Lending team at Barclays. This team sits within Barclays UK Legal and is responsible for legal advice and legal risk management for consumer credit lending in Barclays UK PLC.
As a Barclays Legal Counsel you will support the full range of consumer lending products - loans, credit cards, overdrafts and point of sale finance products, including the Barclaycard and Barclayloan brands. You will work within a strong but friendly team of experienced lawyers. Your work will also cover new product development and strategic partnerships.

Purpose of the role
