Job summary

Paiswick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML) is seeking a Consumables Store Keeper to oversee the day-to-day operations of the consumables store at Prestwick Hangar. You will ensure secure, efficient stock handling, accurate records and timely issue of parts for Ryanair’s fleet.

The role requires proactive, organized individuals with strong Excel/Word skills; experience in aviation or warehouse work is advantageous. This is an on-site position at Prestwick International Airport.

Qualifications

• Stock control and warehouse operations experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of AMOS is advantageous.
• Ability to work without direct supervision.
• Experience in airline industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Control all stock movements into and out of the consumables store, both physically and on the ERP system.
• Maintain required stock levels and ensure accurate records.
• Conduct regular stock checks and develop processes to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
• Supply weekly usage reports to management.
• Monitor trends and report any abnormal usage.
• Adhere to internal processes and quality procedures.

Prestwick Aircraft Maintenance Ltd (PAML) is one of six heavy aircraft maintenance providers for our client Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair’s entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 series aircraft, at our Hangar facility located at Prestwick International Airport, Ayrshire, Scotland.

As we continue to recruit for the start of the new heavy maintenance season, we are looking for a Consumable store person to join our team.

The Consumables Store keeper will be responsible for the day to day running of the Consumables Store at PAML, delivering a secure, efficient and reliable service to colleagues.

You will ensure that aircraft consumable parts are stored, handled and issued correctly. The Consumables Store keeper will maintain accurate records of all transactions, perform regular stock checks and develop a new process that will reduce waste and increase efficiency.

Duties Will Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Responsible for the control of all stock movements into and out of consumable store both physically and on our engineering computer system.
• Ensuring required stock levels are maintained.
• Ensuring all materials are controlled in accordance with internal processes and quality procedures.
• Mixing and dispensing required amounts of Chemicals/Paint.
• Enforcement of PAML Consumable Parts process.
• Supply weekly usage reports.
• Monitor and report on trends/abnormal usage.
