Job summary

RSM in the United Kingdom invites you to join as part of our Early Careers Consulting stream, starting 14 September 2027. You’ll begin in Finance Function Support or Risk and Governance, spending five days a week in the office or with clients to build confidence through real client work.

You don’t need prior experience; we’re looking for curiosity, teamwork and a willingness to travel. The program includes structured training, paid study leave, mentoring and opportunities to study towards the

Qualifications

• Curious, aren’t afraid to ask questions, who want to get involved and who enjoy working with others.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
• UCAS points requirement: 112 across three A levels or 104 across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Permanent right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels or the EPQ.

Responsibilities

• Five days a week in the office or with clients to gain real consulting experience.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and support financial reporting and compliance activities.
• Turn financial information into insights to help clients make confident decisions.
• Meet people at all levels of an organisation, from frontline teams to senior leadership.
• Conduct interviews, review documents, analyse data and test how organisations manage risk.
• Take part in the full audit and assurance lifecycle, from planning through to report writing and presenting findings.
• Deliver practical recommendations to strengthen how organisations work.

WHAT YOU COULD BE DOING

• You’ll spend five days a week in the office or with clients because that’s where real consulting happens, working experienced colleagues who'll support you, challenge you and help you build confidence as you go.
• Depending on which solution you join, you could be preparing statutory financial statements and supporting financial reporting and compliance activities.
• Turning financial information into meaningful insight that helps clients make confident decisions.
• Meeting people at every level of an organisation, from frontline teams to senior leadership.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You don't need experience, you don't need to know exactly where your career is heading and you definitely don't need all the answers.
• We're looking for people who are curious, aren’t afraid to ask questions, who want to get involved and who enjoy working with others.
• To be considered, you’ll need to have a minimum of 112 UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent level 3 qualification) or 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• An existing permanent right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• A willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
• RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

Your start date will be 14 September 2027. Start dates are mandatory – the training you receive from day one is designed to give you the best possible start to your career with us.
