Job summary

RSM UK is looking for school leavers to start a career in consulting. You will join our Finance Function Support or Risk and Governance streams, learning on real client work from day one and building confidence through structured training.

You will spend five days a week in the office or with clients, gaining experience in financial statements, reporting, risk analysis and audit lifecycle while studying toward professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum UCAS points required across three A levels (or equivalent level 3) or 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).
• Existing permanent right to live and work in the UK for this role.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and other offices as required.
• RSM does not accept General Studies, AS levels or the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ).

Responsibilities

• Spend five days a week in the office or with clients, working with experienced colleagues who will support you and help you build confidence.
• Depending on which solution you join, you could be preparing statutory financial statements and supporting financial reporting and compliance activities.
• Turn financial information into meaningful insights that help clients make confident decisions.
• Meet people at every level of an organisation, from frontline teams to senior leadership.
• Conduct interviews, review documents, analyse data and test how organisations manage risk.
• Take part in the full audit and assurance lifecycle, from planning through to report writing and presenting findings.

WHAT YOU COULD BE DOING

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You don't need experience, you don't need to know exactly where your career is heading and you definitely don't need all the answers.
• We're looking for people who are curious, aren’t afraid to ask questions, who want to get involved and who enjoy working with others.
• To be considered, you’ll need to have a minimum of 112 UCAS points across three A levels (or equivalent level 3 qualification) or 104 UCAS points across four Scottish Highers/Advanced Highers or an Irish Leaving Certificate (higher level).

Your start date will be 14 September 2027. Start dates are mandatory – the training you receive from day one is designed to give you the best possible start to your career with us.
