Zusammenfassung

ProMedical is seeking a Consultant Upper GI Surgeon for an NHS trust in the South West on a locum basis. The role covers elective and emergency upper GI care, with a full rota and on-call duties within a multidisciplinary team.

Start date 26/10/2026; contract duration until 31/01/2027. The successful candidate will work within an established surgical team delivering high-quality clinical care.

Qualifikationen

• Full GMC registration with licence to practise.
• Specialist Register status in General Surgery with Upper GI expertise—or equivalent consultant-level experience.
• Experience delivering consultant-level upper GI surgical services.
• Ability to participate in a full rota, including on-call commitments.

Aufgaben

• Deliver consultant-level upper GI surgical services.
• Assess and manage elective and emergency upper GI cases.
• Undertake appropriate upper GI procedures.
• Participate in MDT meetings and on-call duties.
