Job summary

Qualifications

• Essential: Full GMC registration and entry on the GMC specialist register or within six months of interview.
• Essential: FRCS CTh or equivalent qualification.
• Extensive experience in elective and emergency thoracic surgery across high-quality units.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality care to thoracic patients as a consultant surgeon.
• Lead clinical teams and contribute to regional or national initiatives.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to improve outcomes and efficiency.
• Deliver undergraduate/postgraduate teaching and supervise academic activities.
