Aneurin Bevan University Health Board's Stroke Service is seeking a consultant stroke physician to develop and deliver stroke care across the Health Board. The role sits within a multidisciplinary team and covers hyper-acute to rehabilitation pathways across Grange University Hospital, Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr and Royal Gwent Hospital.

You will lead service transformation, work to national stroke standards and improve outcomes, with flexible working options where possible as part of NHS commitments.

Formación

• GMC registration and licence to practise.
• Specialist register entry (or via CESR/CCT) within 6 months of interview.
• Experience in delivering stroke care within a MDT.

• Contribute to delivery and development of patient-centred stroke care across the Health Board.
• Advance stroke care within the Stroke Directorate.
• Support transformation of the stroke service.
• Improve clinical outcomes for stroke patients.
• Deliver national stroke standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across the stroke pathway.
• Deliver stroke services across multiple sites (Grange University Hospital, Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr, Royal Gwent).
• Influence future direction of stroke services.

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board's Stroke Service is seeking a consultant stroke physician to help develop and deliver stroke care across the Health Board. The work centres on service transformation, better outcomes and national stroke standards, within a multidisciplinary team. The role covers several sites, from the hyper-acute stroke unit at The Grange University Hospital to rehabilitation at Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr. Applicants need GMC Specialist Register entry, or a CCT or CESR(CP) date within six months of interview.

• Play a key role in advancing stroke care within the Stroke Directorate
• Support transformation of the stroke service
• Improve clinical outcomes for stroke patients
• Deliver national stroke standards

• Deliver stroke services across multiple sites, including Grange University Hospital, Ysbyty Ystrad Fawr and Royal Gwent Hospital

Registration & licences

• Full registration and licence to practise with the GMC
• GMC Specialist Register entry (including via CESR or European Community Rights), or a CCT/CESR(CP) date within 6 months of interview
