Job summary

FIS in London, United Kingdom, seeks a Consultant Sr Lead in Professional Services to guide complex Treasury and Banking software implementations. You will lead requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, go-live and post-implementation support while mentoring consultants and shaping delivery best practices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant Treasury Management System experience, or substantial senior-level experience in Corporate or Banking Treasury, Financial Markets, Treasury Technology or Financial Services Consulting.
• Proven experience leading enterprise Treasury or Banking software implementations.
• Expert, advisory-level industry knowledge in one or more specialist Treasury areas, such as Hedge Accounting, Risk Management, Cash Flow Management or In-House Banking, supported by broad knowledge of financial markets, liquidity, payments, accounting and reporting.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end software implementation lifecycle.
• Ability to lead client workshops, functional teams and discussions with senior stakeholders.
• Fluent English; an additional European language is an advantage.
• A degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Banking, Business, IT, Engineering or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex Treasury and Banking implementation projects and functional workstreams across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Partner with senior client stakeholders to understand business requirements, operating models, processes and controls.
• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration and functional scoping.
• Provide expertise across financial markets, cash and liquidity management, risk, Treasury Accounting, payments and reporting.
• Oversee SIT, UAT, parallel run, cutover, go-live and hypercare activities.
• Resolve complex functional and implementation issues, identifying risks, dependencies and practical solutions.
• Coordinate with Project Management, Technical Consulting, Product, Development and Support teams.
• Provide effort estimates and input into project scope, plans and Professional Services proposals.
• Act as an escalation point, mentor consultants and promote reusable assets, standards and implementation best practices.

About The Role

As a Consultant Sr Lead in Professional Services, you will be a senior functional lead and trusted subject-matter expert for complex Treasury and Banking software implementations. You will guide clients from requirements and solution design through configuration, testing, go-live and post-implementation support, while mentoring consultants and shaping delivery best practices.

What You Bring

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in complex and sometimes undefined situations
• Fluent English; an additional European language is an advantage
• A degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Economics, Banking, Business, IT, Engineering or a related discipline

Preferred Experience

• Implementation experience with FIS Quantum or another Treasury Management System such as Murex, Calypso, Kondor+, Finastra or SAP Treasury
• Knowledge of SQL, relational databases, interfaces, SWIFT or payment messaging
• Experience with SaaS, cloud transformation or Treasury platform modernization
• Relevant Treasury, Finance or Project Management qualifications

Expected proficiency

The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate expert-level industry experience and advisory capability in at least one specialist Treasury area, such as Hedge Accounting, Risk Management, Cash Flow Management or In-House Banking. The role also requires more than 10 years of relevant Quantum or Treasury Management System experience, the ability to lead specialised modules within large and complex projects, demonstrate Quantum and specialist functionality, handle advanced client queries, and mentor Senior Business Consultants. The individual should be recognised as a subject-matter expert who shapes best practices and provides senior-level guidance to clients and delivery teams.
