Your company

A budding environmental consultancy based in the Midlands that specialises in arboriculture, ecology, and topographical services. Their projects span across the UK and typically cover individual landowners, large residential developments, and quarry sites. They offer excellent flexibility regarding remote work, office days, and site visits – expecting you to be in the Midlands-based office approximately once a fortnight. Your new role

You will support a range of ecological projects from conception to completion, working remotely, in the office, and attending sites. Main duties include:

• Conducting ecological surveys (PEA, BNG, protected species surveys, and EcIA)
• Technical report writing
• Helping deliver biodiversity net gain
• Client liaising
• Project management to adhere to strict timescales

What you'll need to succeed

• A degree in Ecology or a related discipline
• Experience in ecological consultancy
• Knowledge of UK environmental legislation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A full UK driving licence
• BNG experience (ideal)
• Protected species license (ideal)
