We are seeking a Consultant Radiologist with a sub-specialist interest in Breast Radiology to join NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK. This full-time position offers a 10 PA contract, with potential to increase to 12 PA following job planning, and involves working within a dynamic multidisciplinary team equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including digital mammography, ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI equipment.
The role includes responsibilities such as mammogram reporting, breast MRI reporting (desirable), participation in breast MDTs, screening mammogram reading, assessment clinics, and clinical admin. There is also an opportunity to contribute to the West of Scotland Breast Screening Service and to engage in teaching, training, and governance activities.
Applicants should have a keen interest in breast imaging and the flexibility to adapt to service changes. Inpatient service coverage may be required, and the timetable will be negotiated based on service needs. The candidate must be able to contribute to high-quality patient care and departmental functions.
