Job summary

Medway NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Consultant Radiologist to join the Diagnostics and Therapies group within the Cancer and Core Clinical Services Division. The post is full-time (10 PA) with on-call duties and a probation period, and part-time/flexible working may be considered.

The department houses CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy suites, and the appointee will contribute to general workload and on-call rotas. FRCR and GMC registration are essential.

Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration with a licence to practise and FRCR.
• CCST/CCT/CESR or equivalent in radiology (or will obtain within 6 months of interview date).
• IELTS (Academic) level 7.5, or graduate of a Medical School in UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, USA or Canada.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the general workload of the radiology department.
• Participate in the on-call rota (10 PA) following probation and assessment.
• On-call after 9pm weekdays and after 5pm weekends is outsourced to an external agency.
• Family-friendly and part-time working can be considered.
