Colchester Hospital, part of East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, is inviting applications for a full-time Locum Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Breast Symptomatic and Screening Imaging.

This 1-year fixed-term post supports the Cancer & Diagnostics Clinical Delivery Group (CDG) while service needs are reviewed. Flexible working options, NHS training and development opportunities, and leadership in a busy, collaborative environment are provided.

Qualifikationen

• Previous NHS breast screening service experience is essential.
• Locum Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Breast Symptomatic and Screening Imaging.
• 1-year fixed term post while division reviews needs.

Aufgaben

• Provide a consultant-led radiology service with high standards of care.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to develop care pathways and guidelines.
• Develop and maintain ward, outpatient, and A&E workflows.
• Promote close links with tertiary centres, community services and primary care.
• Offer leadership to junior medical staff and other MDT members.
