Job summary

Bolton NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in breast imaging to join our friendly team at Bolton Breast Unit. You will work alongside Breast Advanced Practitioners and other consultants across the diagnostic pathway.

The unit offers access to mammography, tomosynthesis, ultrasound and early breast interventions; we run one-stop clinics and participate in National Breast Screening referrals, with opportunities to contribute to clinical

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with FRCR or equivalent.
• Consultant/ NHS experience in radiology preferred.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and current practice in breast imaging.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert breast imaging reporting within a multidisciplinary team.
• Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists and advanced practitioners.
• Contribute to teaching, training and breast imaging research.
