An exciting opportunity awaits as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in East Renfrewshire CAMHS. This role is integral to a multidisciplinary team, leading the delivery of psychological therapies and ensuring quality clinical services. You will collaborate with senior clinicians and contribute to neurodevelopmental services, all while being part of a larger network of over 100 psychologists. This is an exciting opportunity to join as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in East Renfrewshire CAMHS, currently part of a 0.5 WTE position. The post holder will be integral to the leadership team within a multidisciplinary service comprising various psychology posts across different grades. The wider team includes multidisciplinary staff.
The post holder will lead the delivery and governance of psychological therapies, work with senior clinicians and the Service Manager to manage waiting times, and ensure the delivery of high-quality clinical services in line with Scottish Government Local Delivery Plan targets. Contributions to neurodevelopmental services are also expected.
You will be part of a network of over 100 psychologists within Specialist Children’s Services and approximately 300 psychologists across the Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board. There are strong links to the West of Scotland Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme (University of Glasgow) and the MSc in Applied Psychology for Children and Young People (University of Edinburgh).
We welcome applications from Clinical Psychologists with experience in service delivery, management, and working with complex cases, especially in a Tier 3 CAMHS setting.
