This is an exciting opportunity to join as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist in East Renfrewshire CAMHS, to join the current 0.5 WTE Consultant. The post holder will be part of the leadership team for the multidisciplinary service, which includes a range of Psychology posts at various grades. The wider team comprises multi-disciplinary staff.
The post holder is expected to lead the delivery and governance of psychological therapies within the service. They will work with other senior clinicians and the Service Manager to manage waiting times and deliver a high-quality clinical service in line with Scottish Government Local Delivery Plan targets. Additionally, contributions to neurodevelopmental services are routinely expected.
You will be part of a group of more than 100 Psychologists in Specialist Children’s Services and approximately 300 Psychologists within the Greater Glasgow and Clyde Health Board. The role offers good links to the West of Scotland Doctorate in Clinical Psychology Programme (University of Glasgow) and the MSc in Applied Psychology for Children and Young People (University of Edinburgh).
We welcome applications from Clinical Psychologists with experience in service delivery, management, and working with complex cases, especially within a Tier 3 CAMHS setting.
