As a Consultant Psychiatrist in the West Kent EIP Service, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality clinical service.

The West Kent EIP service is aligned with 26 GP+ surgeries spanning from Borough Green, bordering Sevenoaks, Maidstone, Staplehurst, Marden & Headcorn bordering on to Ashford.

The team includes Consultant Psychiatrists, Specialty Doctors, Nurses, OTs, Psychologists, Support Workers, and Admin staff, providing comprehensive psychiatric assessments and treatments for individuals aged 14 to 65 years.

Main duties of the job

• Participate in annual appraisals for Consultants.
• Engage in service and business planning activities for the locality and the wider mental health service.
• Collaborate with local managers and professional colleagues to ensure efficient service operation and contribute to medical management.
• Attend and participate in the Trust's academic programs, including lectures and seminars as part of the internal CPD program.
