This is an exciting opportunity to join the Core 24 Psychiatric Liaison Service serving the localities of Northumberland and North Tyneside. You will be based at Northumberland Specialist Emergency Care Hospital with outreach to base DGH sites in Hexham, Wansbeck and North Tyneside, all provided by Northumbria Acute Trust. The MDT has expanded in recent years to include a Nurse Consultant, Clinical nurse specialist and NMP, and a psychologist. There is also specialist pharmacy input as well as team of Band 6 assessors.

Home to Alnwick castle, Hadrian's Wall and Northumberland National Park. There are 8 market towns and many attractive villages. The coastline has many beautiful beaches and is recognised as an area of outstanding natural beauty. For travel further afield there are good road links by the A19 and A1. The main East Coast Rail Line provides rapid links to both London and Edinburgh.
