Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal is recruiting a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the EDU ward. This permanent, site-based role involves delivering evidence-based care for adults and young people, leading MDT rounds and ensuring governance and clinical standards.

You will be the Responsible Clinician for detained patients under the Mental Health Act 1983, with CPD ongoing and a need for HCPC registration. Priory provides development opportunities and a strong support network.

Qualifications

• MRCPsych or equivalent.
• CCT or equivalent.
• GMC Specialist Register with Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status.
• Ongoing continuing professional development.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality clinical care to inpatients on the EDU ward.
• Lead multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk assessments and reviews.
• Take clinical responsibility for a defined caseload and care planning.
• Fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983.
