Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal invites a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the EDU ward. The role centers on delivering patient-centred, evidence-based inpatient care within a multidisciplinary team.

Key requirements include MRCPsych (or equivalent), CCT, GMC Specialist Register, Section 12(2) approval and ongoing CPD. The post is site-based with 37.5 hours per week and HCPC registration is noted as required.

Qualifications

• MRCPsych or equivalent qualification is required
• CCT or equivalent and GMC Specialist Register
• Section 12(2) approval and Approved Clinician status
• Evidence of ongoing continuous professional development (CPD) now and ongoing

Responsabilités

• Deliver outstanding clinical care to inpatients with complex needs
• Lead multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk assessments and care planning
• Provide clinical leadership as Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983
