Job summary

Lancashire Care Foundation Trust is seeking a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Early Intervention Service in Chorley. Based at Euxton Lodge, the post is part time (8PA) and includes participation on the Consultant On Call rota with additional pay.

The role focuses on first episode psychosis and ARMS, with clinical leadership across the MDT. The post involves supervising and developing the EIS team, with opportunities for clinical supervision and involvement in education.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration and Specialist Register or eligible for entry within 6 months of interview.
• Section 12 Approved at start of employment and Approved Clinician Status.
• Remuneration as per New Consultant Contract based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within the MDT for Early Intervention Psychiatry.
• Support young people aged 16+ within Central Lancashire EIS.
• Participate in the Consultant On Call rota with additional remuneration.
• Contribute to service development and education within the Trust.
