Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is seeking two Consultant Psychiatrists for the SCAMHS service in East Suffolk, Ipswich. The role offers full or part-time hours with a 15-session per week workload and salary bands from £113,565 to £150,569 gross per year pro rata.

Qualifications

• 3 years or equivelent medical experience.
• 6 months experience in relevant clinical area.
• Evidence of knowledge of diagnosis, treatment + management of complex mental illness.

Responsabilités

• Provide assessment and formulation for new referrals aged 0–18 with complex mental health presentations.
• Maintain a caseload of young people and oversee medication and treatment plans.
• Deliver clinical care across Trust settings, including primary care and home visits.
• Work to NICE and QNCC standards; support service development and quality improvements.
• Contribute to expansion of an under-18 crisis team.
