Job summary
We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join a dynamic team.
The post holder will be Consultant Psychiatrist to the Bexley Intensive Case Management for Psychosis Team (ICMP) with Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust.
The Bexley ICMP Team was formed as part of the reconfiguration of Community Mental Health Services that occurred in September 2015. The reconfiguration of Community Services was part of the directorate's plan to ensure efficient delivery of mental health services whilst delivering high quality care
Main duties of the jobIntensive Case Management for Psychosis (ICMP) provides care and treatment for service users who are diagnosed with Schizophrenia or Bi-Polar Affective Disorder.
The service aims to be flexible, accessible and available outside of standard working hours. The Pathways of care aim to offer individuals choice and involvement regarding their treatment, actively encouraging their participation in the planning and implementation of their care.
The Trust provides services to a richly diverse population; the locality teams will work with service users and carers in their community to ensure that the care and support provided is sensitive and appropriate to their needs.
