Cygnet Delfryn Lodge is seeking an experienced full-time Consultant Psychiatrist to provide senior medical cover for women’s rehabilitation services. You will be the Responsible Clinician, oversee ward inpatients, audit medical services, and ensure GMC standards are met.
The role includes leading a multidisciplinary team, contributing to CPD, and opportunities to progress toward Medical Director level within a supportive national network.

We are seeking an experienced full-time Consultant Psychiatrist who will work at Cygnet Delfryn Lodge and Rhyd Alyn. and provide senior medical cover within our mental health rehabilitation service for women
The post holder will be the Responsible Clinician and will oversee and maintain the care of all ward inpatients as required and will also have responsibility for auditing the medical services rendered at the ward and ensuring their good quality in accordance to GMC standards of good medical practice and other relevant professional guidelines.
Cygnet Delfryn Lodge provides a flexible mental health rehabilitation service for women, including High-Support Inpatient Rehabilitation (Level 2) and Community / Open Rehabilitation (Level 1). This dual-level rehabilitation model ensures that women receive the support they need while developing independence at their own pace.
Rhyd Alyn is a six bed community rehabilitation (level 1) service for women who have been able to progress through the hospital pathway at Cygnet Delfryn Lodge. We also accept referrals from other high dependency inpatient rehabilitation services as well as directly from the community.
In this role, your expertise will be the driving force for life-changing treatment fully supported by a Specialty Doctor and first-class multidisciplinary team including qualified nurses, psychologist and occupational therapist.
And you’ll have the opportunity to progress to Medical Director Level through our management schemes.
