Job Description:

We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant Physician with an interest in Respiratory Medicine on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful Medicine department.

Our client is one of the UK's largest and busiest teaching Trusts with a turnover of c£1 billion, 1.5 million patient contacts a year, and more than 15,000 staff based across South East London. The Trust provides a full range of local and specialist services across its five sites. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring high-quality Respiratory services, contributing to treatment and management duties, covering colleagues' leave and sickness, supervising junior medical staff, and engaging in teaching, examinations, and clinical governance. Outpatient commitments at peripheral hospitals and participation in audit programs are also expected.

The Trust is located in a beautiful suburb on the outskirts of London, close to international airports and reputable schools.
