Basic Salary: £107,144 - £142,369 per annum + on-call supplement (3% of full-time salary)

Borders General Hospital is a modern 284-bed district general hospital serving rural South East Scotland, about 36 miles from Edinburgh.
The Role
We seek a consultant physician/geriatrician to join our team. The Department of Medicine for the Elderly (DME) at Borders General Hospital has consultants covering general and specialist elderly care. The successful candidate will oversee general elderly care, liaise with GPs and primary care teams, and lead in developing specialist services aligned with their interests and service needs. They will also support the movement toward integrated care for the Scottish Borders.
Applicants must have full GMC Registration and be on the Specialist Register for Geriatric Medicine and General Internal Medicine, or be within six months of completing their CCT or equivalent at the time of interview.
