The candidate will hold GMC Specialist Register in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery, have hand surgery experience, and possess consultant-level experience in day-case and inpatient work, with a strong commitment to patient

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality day case and inpatient Hand Surgery care with focus on outcomes.
• Contribute to development of a growing hand surgery service and participate in a dedicated team.
• Deliver patient-centered care in a busy elective surgical setting in North Derbyshire (Chesterfield/Sheffield area).

Job description

A leading independent sector hospital group is developing its Orthopaedic Hand Surgery service and is recruiting a permanent Consultant Hand Surgeon for its elective surgical hospital in North Derbyshire (Chesterfield/Sheffield area). You'll play a key role in the team, bringing your specialist expertise to high-quality day case and inpatient care with a strong focus on outstanding clinical outcomes.

Salary: £80,000 to £160,000 per annum

Contract: Permanent, PAYE (this role is not open to locums)
