An established industry player is seeking a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a keen interest in paediatric ophthalmology. This is a newly created Consultant post. The post holder will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide and develop ophthalmic care for paediatric patients. The role also involves managing motility-related presentations in both adults and children. Additionally, the post requires active participation in the general workload of the Care Group, with a significant commitment to teaching and training junior staff (medical and non-medical).
The position is primarily based at King's College Hospital's Denmark Hill site, with potential support for other King's sites. The post may also include clinics at University Hospital Lewisham and ROP screening across various sites covered by King's, such as Denmark Hill, The Princess Royal University Hospital, University Hospital Lewisham, and Queen Elizabeth Woolwich. Salary ranges from £105,504 to £139,882 per annum, excluding London Zone Allowance.
