Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust requires a Consultant Radiologist with a subspecialty interest in diagnostic neuroradiology. The post involves joining a team of neuroradiologists, delivering specialist neuroradiology and emergency imaging, and contributing to neuro-oncology MDTs and cross-disciplinary meetings.

The role includes on-call duties, educational responsibilities, and involvement in audit, research and quality improvement within UHL.

Qualifications

• MB BS with GMC registration and FRCR or equivalent.
• Fully accredited for Higher Specialist Training or eligible for Specialist Register within 6 months.
• Membership of relevant specialist societies is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic neuroradiology and emergency neuroradiology imaging.
• participate in neuro-oncology MDTs and related meetings.
• Join the neuroradiology on-call rota and support weekend imaging.
• Supervise junior medical staff and trainees; contribute to audit and teaching.
