Job summary

LUC is seeking a Consultant Landscape Architect/Planner to join our Bristol-based Landscape Planning team. The role offers exposure to high-profile projects and collaboration with industry experts within a flexible, employee-owned environment.

You will contribute to LVIA, landscape character assessments and landscape sensitivity studies, with opportunities for fieldwork across the UK and travel to client offices. A degree and relevant experience are required.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree or postgraduate level in a landscape related field.
• Accredited landscape qualifications welcomed; planning/geography related qualifications considered.
• Full clean driving licence and willingness to undertake fieldwork.
• Experience in a landscape consultancy environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS, ReSoft Windfarm/WindPRO, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign) and SketchUp valuable.

Responsibilities

• Involve in LVIA, EIA, and landscape character assessments.
• Carry out site assessments, report writing and production of graphics.
• Provide support to senior staff and collaborate with internal and external teams.
• Undertake landscape fieldwork across the UK and travel as required.
