This is a post for a fourth Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The Trust acts as the focus for Neurophysiology services in the whole of Lancashire and South Cumbria. In addition to the 390,000 resident populations of Preston, Chorley and South Ribble, the Trust also provides Neurophysiology services for a wider population of 1.6 million.

You will be based at the Royal Preston Hospital and will be expected to have both EMG and EEG sessions. There will be a commitment to both adult and paediatric neurophysiology.
The department has an Intra-operative Monitoring Service which is mainly run by the Clinical Physiologists but may require Consultant input periodically. Development of Video-telemetry service is still under consideration.
