Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting two Consultant Anaesthetists to work across Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. The post involves delivering adult and paediatric general anaesthesia in theatres with a mix of fixed and flexible sessions, and to provide cover in emergency, trauma and labour ward areas.

The roles include 2 PA weekend elective lists with weekday activity as per the job plan and an optional 11th PA depending on service needs.

Qualifications

• CCT in Anaesthesia.
• Experience as a Consultant.
• Ability to cover adult and paediatric anaesthesia and a range of surgical subspecialties.

Responsabilités

• Provide anaesthetic cover in emergency, trauma and labour ward settings.
• Deliver adult and paediatric general anaesthesia at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals.
• Cover elective theatre lists and participate in job planning discussions.

This post is for two full time Consultant Anaesthetists to work on the Barnet,Chase Farm sites. This post covers theatres with a mixture of fixed and flexiblesessions.The successful candidate will be expected to provide anaesthetic cover invarious areas. Areas include emergency, trauma and labour ward cover as wellas cover for elective theatre lists. The current specialties include Obstetrics &Gynaecology, Urology, General Surgery, Maxillo-Facial, ENT andOrthopaedics.

2 PA Weekend elective lists and weekday activity as per job plan. No oncall commitments

An option for an 11th PA may be offered during job planning depending on service requirements,however, this is not required to undertake. A job planning review will take placewithin the first three months.

An opportunity has arisen due to retirement and expansion of services for two Consultant Anaesthetists to join the team at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals. The role involves delivering adult and paediatric general anaesthesia at Barnet and Chase Farm Hospitals

The successful candidate will have a CCT in Anaesthesia

Barnet Hospital is an acute hospital with all emergency services including ENT, Gen surgery, trauma , orthopaedics, Max Fax , paediatrics , obstetrics, gynae and urology. There are seven operating theatres , interventional cardiology suite and two intensive care units. £113,565 to £150,569 a year per annum plus £2162 London weighting
