An established industry player seeks a dedicated clinical immunologist to provide high-quality services at Salford Royal Hospital. This role involves managing allergy and immunology services, conducting clinics, and supervising patient care while maintaining high standards of clinical governance. The appointee will, together with a consultant colleague, be responsible for providing a comprehensive, efficient, and high-quality clinical Immunology service at Salford Royal Hospital, part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA). Duties will encompass all aspects of Allergy and Clinical Immunology.
Honorary contract with Manchester Foundation Trust (site of the Greater Manchester Immunology laboratory) can be arranged for limited involvement with the regional immunology laboratory.
The post holder will be expected to maintain continuing medical education according to the requirements of the relevant Royal College(s), participate in relevant CPD activities, clinical audit, clinical governance, quality assurance schemes, proficiency testing, appraisal, job plan review, and revalidation. Mandatory training must be completed. There is no mandatory out-of-hours work. Cross-cover for annual, professional, and study leave is expected.
