Job summary

The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with Mid-Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, seeks three Consultant Haematologists to join our team at Leighton Hospital in Crewe.

This 10 PA per week post includes on‑call commitments, three outpatient clinics weekly, GP liaison, MDT participation, and potential special interests across the Christie network. A 20% attraction payment is offered for direct hires, with flexible working options.

Qualifications

• FRCP/MRCP or equivalent to support consultant level practice.
• FRCPath or equivalent qualification required.
• GMC registration with license to practice in the UK.
• MD/PhD or equivalent research qualification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-led haematology services with on-call commitments.
• Deliver outpatient clinics and lead liaison with GPs and Inpatients.
• Participate in MDTs and contribute to haematology service development.
• Support development of special interests within the Haematology service.
