An established industry player is seeking a Consultant Gynaecologist with a specialization in Endometriosis. The appointment is for a substantive 10 PA Consultant Gynaecologist and Specialist in Endometriosis, based at St Michael’s Hospital.
The appointee will be an endometriosis specialist, with completed RCOG ATSM/SITM in Advanced Laparoscopy for the Excision of Benign Disease/Endometriosis Care, or equivalent experience. Additional ATSMs are welcomed.
The successful candidate will participate as a full team member of the tertiary referral BSGE accredited Endometriosis Centre, contributing to audit and research. Responsibilities include elective inpatient and outpatient care, clinics, operating lists (including robotic surgery), and general gynaecology clinics. There is no obstetrics component.
Role involves emergency ‘hot week’ cover and a non-resident (1 in 15) on call for gynaecology.

The candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient care for suspected or proven endometriosis, pelvic pain, and other benign conditions, including surgical resection of severe disease. Skills in robotic surgery and endometriosis ultrasound scanning are desirable but can be developed if needed.
