Join a leading NHS organization as a Geriatric Medicine Consultant, delivering comprehensive geriatric services across various locations. Contribute to the management of elderly care wards while being part of a dedicated team providing vital support and specialized care in a dynamic environment.
The successful candidate will join the existing team in delivering geriatric medicine inpatient and outpatient work in the Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale, Craven, and East Lancashire area.
The elderly team offers acute frailty support, comprehensive geriatric assessment, and FEP. The service also includes in-reach into rehabilitation beds based in one of our district general hospitals.
With access to radiology, pathology, diagnostic testing, the team provides a truly comprehensive service to our inpatients and outpatients.
The team manages 3 elderly care wards and provides liaison services to orthopaedics and the acute admission ward. The service also includes in-reach into 10 rehabilitation beds based in one of our district general hospitals, dedicated MDT outpatient clinics, and community sessions.
Ward-based support, offering in-reach into Urgent Care and participation in the on-call rota.

The post is based at Airedale General Hospital.

Salary: £105,504 to £139,882 per annum, pro rata.
