The successful candidate will join the existing team in delivering geriatric medicine inpatient and outpatient work in the Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale, Craven and East Lancashire area.

The successful candidate will join the existing team in delivering geriatric medicine inpatient and outpatient work in the Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale, Craven and East Lancashire area.
The elderly team offer acute frailty support, comprehensive geriatric assessment, and FEP. The service also includes in-reach into rehabilitation beds based in one of our district general hospitals.
With access to radiology, pathology, diagnostic testing, the team provide a truly comprehensive service to our inpatients and outpatients.
Main duties of the job
The team look after 3 elderly care wards and provide liaison service to orthopaedics and the acute admission ward. The service also includes in-reach into 10 rehabilitation beds based in one of our district general hospitals, dedicated MDT outpatient clinics and community sessions.
With access to radiology, pathology, diagnostic testing, the team provide a truly comprehensive service to our inpatients and outpatients.
Ward based support, offering in-reach into Urgent Care and being part of the on-call rota.

The successful candidate will join the existing team in providing a comprehensive level of service to Airedale NHS Foundation Trust and its users.
The post will be based at Airedale General Hospital.
To support delivery of geriatric medicine inpatient and outpatient work in the Bradford, Airedale, Wharfedale, Craven and East Lancashire area.
