Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust seeks a permanent, full-time 10 PA Consultant in General Paediatrics with a special interest in Cardiology. The post is primarily based at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital, with duties across Good Hope and Solihull sites within the Trust.

Qualifications

• Essential: MBBS or equivalent.
• Essential: MRCPCH or equivalent.
• Essential: UK Professional Registration.

Responsibilities

• Join an experienced consultant team delivering the paediatric cardiology service.
• Participate in joint cardiology clinics with Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
• Provide out-of-hours on-call duties based at Heartlands Hospital.
• Support HDU and inpatient care across sites within the Trust.
• Engage in teaching, training and supervision of postgraduate doctors.
