This is a rewarding opportunity for a General Adult Psychiatrist to join a well-established Multidisciplinary Team as a full-time Inpatient Consultant on Ward 34 at the Radbourne Unit, Derby, with Derbyshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
Ward 34 is a 20-bed male-only acute psychiatric ward.
As a clinical leader, you will be involved in shaping and developing the service as the Trust undertakes a new build project. In November 2024, Ward 34 will move to the Kingsway Site in Derby, to be based in a new purpose-built hospital with eradication of dormitories. The ward will then be named Dove Ward.
You will also have opportunities to grow and enhance your skills as a clinician and develop evidence-based innovative practices.
You will join a team of experienced and supportive colleagues who share good camaraderie and excellent working relationships.
