The Christie NHS Foundation Trust invites an accomplished Consultant Gastroenterologist with a specialist interest in Clinical Nutrition to establish our Nutrition Support Team within a leading cancer centre. This substantive part-time post (5 PAs) focuses solely on nutrition support, with no general gastroenterology, endoscopy, or on-call commitments.

Based in the Nutrition and Dietetics Department, you will lead MDTs, direct ward rounds and clinics, and shape a strategic NST program in line

Formación

• Consultant gastroenterologist with a specialist interest in Clinical Nutrition.
• Strong leadership and team-working skills.
• Experience in nutrition support services and NST leadership.

Responsabilidades

• Lead Nutrition Support Team ward rounds and outpatient clinics.
• Develop and deliver NST service in line with national guidance.
• Provide expert gastroenterology input for complex nutrition cases including PN.
• Collaborate with MDTs and regional centres to optimise pathways.
• Lead education, audit, and research activities.
