Applicants must hold full GMC registration with a license to practice in the UK and possess relevant qualifications and experience within their specialty. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, alongside a proactive and adaptable approach to the challenges of modern healthcare.
This post has been created to join the General Surgery team at St. George\'s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and developed to provide delivery of clinical care for general surgery, and emergency surgical patients. As part of the reconfiguration of the delivery of trauma services at St. George\'s University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust there will be a commitment to the delivery of trauma care.
The post represents an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic surgical team in general surgery with the potential to contribute to the new development of an emergency general surgery team and support the development of the major trauma services.

The appointee will fulfil Royal College of Surgeons and GMC guidelines for continuing professional development. The appointee will be encouraged to attend courses and continue in their education.
