Job summary

Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust invites applications for Consultant Dermatologists to join our dermatology team at the Birmingham Skin Centre. The post offers broad-based clinical work across general dermatology, paediatric dermatology, skin cancer and related clinics, with opportunities to develop sub-specialty interests.

You will share a teaching, training and research ethos with strong links to the University of Birmingham and Health Education West Midlands, and participate in in-hours

Qualifications

• GMC Specialist Register in Dermatology or within 6 months of CCT.
• Commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching and research.
• Interest in developing sub-specialty interests to align with service needs.

Responsibilities

• Participate in in-hours on-call rota for dermatology.
• Contribute to proper functioning of the clinical service with colleagues.
• Engage in teaching, training and research activities within the department.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team at the Birmingham Skin Centre and SWBH NHS Trust.
