Job summary

The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust seeks a substantive Consultant Dermatologist, primarily based in Salford with opportunities at Radcliffe and Bury Dermatology services. The role involves general dermatology, cancer and paediatric clinics, including surgical procedures, with on-call commitments and a formal job plan.

You will contribute to MDTs, teaching, audits and research while supporting professional development and patient safety across the trust, which serves Greater

Qualifications

Inclusion on Specialist Register or admission to the register within 6 months of interview.
Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).
Completion of CCT/higher specialist training or equivalent in Dermatology.

Responsibilities

Provide general dermatology, cancer and paediatric clinics and surgical procedures across Radcliffe and Salford Dermatology services.
Manage workload and adapt the job plan as needed.
Undertake ward rounds and participate in MDT discussions.
Contribute to undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education.
Participate in clinical audits and research activities.
