Job summary

Bupa is seeking a Consultant Dermatologist for Stratum Clinic Oxford. The role is self-employed, part-time (minimum 8 hours weekly) with a percentage split. You will oversee outpatient dermatology care, perform minor surgeries, and develop treatment plans while maintaining high standards of patient safety and records.

You will join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to clinical governance and service development, with ongoing CPD and patient-focused care in a private clinic setting.

Qualifications

• GMC registration with licence to practise is required.
• Specialist Register entry in Dermatology is required.
• Experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of dermatological conditions.
• Confident in performing dermatology procedures and minor skin surgery.
• Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert assessment, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing management of dermatological conditions.
• Deliver high-quality outpatient dermatology services with excellent clinical outcomes and patient experience.
• Perform dermatological procedures including biopsies, excisions and minor surgical interventions.
• Develop personalised treatment plans and advise patients on management of skin conditions.
• Maintain compliant patient records and collaborate with MDTs.
• Contribute to governance, quality improvement and service development.
