The role focuses on administrative coordination, involvement in research activities, and leadership in teaching and educational programs.

As part of our surgical service, you will contribute to both elective and acute care, engage with national audits, and participate in ongoing education through the Newcastle Surgical Training Centre

Responsibilities

• Administrative: Provide timely communication to the wider team in hospital and the community.
• Research: Engage with research activities in the department and deliver research projects.
• Teaching: The department leads many educational programs and teaching is an important part of this role.
